This is the EULA I found for Vegas Content. It's not clear how to report you are authorized to the provider, Storyblocks, though.

Happens all the time -- they file hundreds of claims in hopes that one will stick -- purely bogus.

It should work the same way, contact storyblocks, tell them you are a VEGAS content subscriber, and give them your channel ID.

Do you know how to contact Storyblocks re: copyright claims?

Their API makes it look as if this is something the program (Vegas?) can embed:

This is most likely a scam. You should dispute this, and raise a ticket with Vegas, and notify Storyblocks that Haawk for a 3rd party is making copyright strikes on music that is not theirs. As far as I know, there is no way for us mortals to complain to YT about these things, but Storyblocks and Vegas Creative Software should be able to.

There are other complaints about these guys; I suggest you Google them to see.

Here is another video about Haawk and how to dispute or not dispute the claim. Read some of the comments and you'll see others getting false claims from Haawk. Note the one about the guy who replaced the music with other music that he was sure was safe and Haawk came right back and claimed that too. They should be shut down.

Storyblocks uses HAAWK,

Only a problem would exist if Vegas aren't use Storyblocks for their stock content @john-brown

While it's clear that Vegas Content is a subset of Storyblocks based on the EULA above, the problem is as Vegas Content users we don't have Storyblocks accounts. So where do we add the channel ID?

Thank you for the information. However, based on the links that I gave, it appears that Haawk is going way beyond legitimate copyright strikes. If such is the case, then Storyblocks should avoid using Haawk.

Thanks everyone, this is all good information so far but the question remains, how do a Vegas subscriber tells Storyblocks he is a legitimate user, where to add the channel ID.

I would expect someone from Vegas to chime in.

I hope someone from Vegas does comment, but if not, file a support request?

For what it's worth, here is the link to the Royalty-Free Individual License Agreement. Note C.5 about YT.

The license for Vegas Content posted above says:

Don't be dismayed if it isn't acted on for a couple of years...

Actually YouTube disputes and potential subsequent appeals each have a 30-day deadline. If the claimant ("copyright holder") does not respond within that time frame, their claim is released and you're good to go.

If you need to attached the EULA, just find file EULA in VEGAS Pro Program Files folder, then upload it to your google drive or dropbox etc... then share the link in the YouTube message.

I have tested it on one of my videos and the dispute release process done very quickly.

Update: I filed a dispute with YouTube using the text proposed by Gary and providing a link to the EULA document in my google drive and it took 1h21m for the claim to be resolved.
