1.02gb video to DVD, System states video 6.9gb . < space 4,7gb DVD ???

I have attempted to record 1.09gb video to DVD, however as I choose DVD the system post estimated size of video 6.9gb not enough space on a Sony 4.7gb Blank DVD. How do I get the estimated size to be representative of the actual size so I can make DVD's???

Is your 1.09gb video a DVD ready file or are you wanting DVDA to recompress it? It is best to use other software to create a DVD ready file.

First and foremost: Do Not Trust the estimated file size in DVD Architect. It is usually wrong.

Your final MPEG-2 + AC3 + Menus size must be NO LARGER than 4.35 GiB for a DVD5. That is etched in stone tablets.

You will adjust your MPEG-2 video compression to make this happen. There are bitrate calculators still on the internet to assist you with this.
