All versions of Vegas Pro no longer open

So every copy of Vegas Pro that I have (from 14 onwards to 19), suddenly no longer opens.

The splash page appears, and right after "Magix ASIO Low Latency" is loaded, the program immediately self closes without any error message.

Reinstalling does not fix the issue. Latest versions do not fix the issue.
Sony Vegas installations are unaffected (v13 and older).

Not very happy that my $500+ software is unusable.

Anyone got an idea?

Yes. Paste "Magix ASIO Low Latency" into the forum search box. Ask additional questions here if necessary.

Try a different audio device type in "Options> Preferences> Audio". Depending on your workflow, you may not need a ASIO driver. MS Sound Mapper and Classic Wave Driver are usually trouble free. I am not familiar with the "Magix ASIO Low Latency" in Vegas, but the Magix ASIO 2016 Low Latency" that Sound Forge Audio Studio installs is a source of noise and other issues.

Wow, this just happened to me, and right in the middle of a big project (over 100 hrs!). VP19 v648 just refuses to open. I get the splash screen as mentioned above, and it shows files loading, then nothing happens. No stray processes in the Task Manager either. I uninstalled it, and re-downloaded the program, and it is still not opening. I was just using it earlier today, then came back to continue some editing, and it refuses to load. No updates to Windows occurred in between.

My System:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, Gigabyte X570 GAMING X, 16 GB DDR 4 SDRAM Ram, GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB, MS Windows 10 Home(x64) Build 19044.2846 (21H2)

I have VP17 and it loads as expected.

This is unrelated to this old post. Set the computer clock back one week and restart Vegas.
