After editing a 33 minute video interview on my PC using NVIDIA GPU acceleration my PC rendered the project up until min 24 and crashed after saying it finished with message: "An error occurred while creating the media file FINAL.mp4. The reason for the error could not be determined". I just purchased VEGAS PRO EDIT 17. I have never had this issue with VEGAS 14 or 15. Error occurs again once video has finished rendering using GPU acceleration. Issue is small clips save and no issues happen. This interview takes 1.25 hours to render. With just CPU it renders at 1440p 60 fps in 2.50 hours. Is there a patch coming to stop this from happening again Sony VEGAS 15 doesn't suffer from this and in fact renders faster using GPU acceleration than 17 which was the main goal to purchase and for preview performance which is not that much different. Please look in to this.
