Avi-Container and x.265-codec create out of sync video

Hello together!

Just wanted to know if anyone of you experienced this before. I assume it's settings-related since a lot of people don't have this problem, while others have (looked through Google for ages).

When I render a video in .avi using the x264/H264/h264-codec, the video has a 1 second black screen until it starts. But the sound is added right away. I couldn't find a solution so far for my problem, but maybe I entered the wrong search term in google. It ONLY happens in this combination, not with any other codec used in the avi-container, nor any other container.

My 2 favorites in the past were x264 and Sony AVC. Sony AVC for some random reason extends the output-video-length by xx amount (5 minute into 6:51, but video stops at 5 minutes, player skips from 5 minutes directly to the end, but Youtube doesn't accept it, it shows me 5% upload for ages) and now Avi with x264-codec doesn't work anymore...

If you ever experienced this please let me know how you fixed it. I can't exclude that I made a mistake in the properties or settings of the render-template, I read that the wrong audio-type (like mp3) messes this up, but I couldn't find a solution in the audio-options I have..

Sincerely,
Dex

Edit: Since audio is included in the video, I can't just move it by 1 second, besides that this means extra effort. Doing 1-2 videos a day it adds up, especially if I forget it once and rendered/uploaded the video for nothing, that's why I want to find a solution

Edit Solution1: Found a possible solution. Just in case anyone is interested in the future: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=96571
Otherwise this can be deleted if necessary. Experiences and solutions still appreciated.

Yes, I did, thing is I had best results with m2ts and I upload the videos to Youtube. Second best results had .avi with x264, but as I said that also doesn't work for explained reasons. I am not using m2ts for both.

The AVI container has limitations wrt bidirectional compression and vbr audio, to name a couple.

Mp4 does not have these limitations.
