Black frames in some clips in Vegas 17

I am facing an issue when a video clip is dragged on Vegas 17 timeline, it shows intermediate black frames in the preview video. But in the same video when I played in the trimmer window, it doesn't shows any black frames. I have dragged the same video file in the Vegas 16, there is no issues.

Please note this issues is only for some Video Clips not for all clips. But when I tested those clips in Vegas 16 or any other media players, I didn't saw any black frames. Can anyone advise me.

Below are the troubleshooting steps that I did for this case. But there is no luck

1. Disable GPU

2. Put the attribute Value of so4compoundplug to FALSE.

The difference in this case between VP16 and VP17 is that you have to allow Quicktime for use if you had Quicktime installed. So change the default setting in Options/Preferences/ Deprecated Features to use here also Quicktime.

Maybe you can offer us a small sourcefile in which your error occurs to test it. You must than put such a file on a cloudservice as dropbbox so we can download it from there as it is, to try out and give you our experiences.

Disable hardware decoding in "file io" tab. that fixed it for me. However. I still refuse to use vegas 17. 😰
