Burning a 3D BluRay from Final Cut stereo project

I have a 3D project in Final Cut Pro that I would like to export as a 3840 x 1080 side-by-side pro Res 422 into Sony Vegas 12 to burn a 3D BluRay. Will Sony Vegas 12 accept that file or do I need Vegas 13? I would also like to include a menu and wonder what additional software I might need? Thanks for any and all help.

Sony Vegas 12 does not open prores natively, nor does Magix support legacy Sony products.

Start with the trial version of Vegas Pro 15 and let us know how it goes.

Start with compliant video and audio templates, and author in DVDA.

You might be able to do it in VP12 if you have Quicktime installed. If you have problems with Quicktime 7.7.9, you could try Quicktime 7.6.2.

Both Vegas Pro 12 and 13 may have an issue to open a ProRes file - or if it works you may see that the luminance Levels are different to FCP. Only beginning with Vegas Pro 14 there has been a native ProRes Support.

Beside that Vegas accepts sbs half files. What I have seen is that the preview does not work any more in Windows 10 but only up to Windows 8.1
