Can't use 1080p (and even 480p ) downloaded videos from youtube

Hi everyone,

All the time I have to download 360p instead of 480p, and 720p instead of 1080p. Here are the specs of the downloaded video, Vegas won't accept them, why ?

480p :

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 640x480 25fps 533kbps [V: h264 main L3.0, yuv420p, 640x480, 533 kb/s]
Audio: AAC 44100Hz stereo 125kbps [A: SoundHandler [eng] (aac lc, 44100 Hz, stereo, 125 kb/s)]

1080p :

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1920x1080 29.97fps 2291kbps [V: h264 high L4.0, yuv420p, 1920x1080, 2291 kb/s]
Audio: AAC 44100Hz stereo 127kbps [A: SoundHandler [eng] (aac lc, 44100 Hz, stereo, 127 kb/s)]

How do you download usable in Vegas youtube footage at its highest resolution ?

I can recommend 4K downloader. My kids use this to grab musical things off youtube but tried myself too, and I can tell it works brilliant.

@klt,

Used it for five years +, very few issues. The native VP9 is sweet.
