The imported files would be video clips from my 2007 SONY Camcorder.  When I tried to import
any of those files into the software, it kept saying that I had compatibility
problems.  My camcorder creates video clips with file extent = .MPG which I have
since learned is the same as = .MPEG.  Does VEGAS Movie Studio successfully import and

process these older technology clips?
