Cannot create an actication code

Account activation code is asking Computer ID. I add my computer's Device ID, and I get activation error message only. What is "Computer ID", and where do I find it?

It is automatically generated the first time you activate your software. Leave it blank.

It insists that all fields be filled in.

If the field is blank it may mean VMS isn't able to find it for some reason.

My experience is your Computer ID is what appears in (Win10) Settings/System/About - and under Device Specifications the "Device Name".
