No idea what your hardware options are, I should advice you to uninstall the program via Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.
Upstart your device again and install the program and do not change its options.
BTW. , what is your version and buildnumber and what is your processor and maybe your graphic processor?

You can check status, activate and, deactivate computers, register software, all from your Magix Account. This assumes your version is legit.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas Pro from scratch.
It is now working again.
