Cant Import AVI

i have no clue why I cant import AVI Clip

Editor and Colorist (Kinda) from Malaysia

AVI is a wrapper, use mediainfo to find which codec. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download/Windows

This didn't work for me. I use Win10 Home x64.

So sad. My older versions of Vegas allowed .avi importing--always. K-lite codec pack usually contained all the necessary codecs (back in Win XP days, that is). Times change.

 

Sure would like a fix...

Well, you would start by beginning your own thread, because you don't have the same file, and by posting the required file properties.

However, we cannot vouch for the effects on Vegas or your system from having installed a rogue codec pack.

JosOro, K-lite codec pack is to be avoided!.... And it does not work for you because probably its a different codec wrapped in AVI you have there.
