I imported ok a music file from my harddrive tried to add tracks and then burned the cd but it won't play back on any CD system including my external dvd's on my computer
@darryl-p I'm a VMS user so not sure what's in VP. But VMS does do Audio CDs so assume Pro is the same. It's not something many users would do. I was surprised to find it in VMS. After all Vegas is a video editor not a music creation programme. Suggest you describe exactly what you are doing such as which of the "Burn Disc" options you are using.
Vegas Pro can burn DAO discs (as well as TAO), convert events to tracks, insert tracks ,, CD text, ect., similar to Sound Forge Pro and CD Arc (I prefer CDA in the rare occurrence an audio CD is requested).
TAO (track-at-once) discs will not play on all CD audio players, so the DAO (disc-at-once) format should be used end-user discs.
