Hard to suggest a fix as I've not seen this happen before, or seen reports of it from others yet, but hopefully someone can figure it out.

We could use some info... what are your system specs, project settings, I would usually ask for a mediainfo report (a free app you can download), but not sure your media is of any importance to this.

Does it do this as soon as you open it, does it do it in more than one project, and if not, what conditions are required to make it happen?

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

I dont think it's the media, it happened all the time with any clip I import. At firts interface opens normally but as soon as I hover with mouse over something or start tweaking the whole thing breaks, really weird. My computer is:

and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. I was hoping somebody would know of the reason. My PC is fairly updated but I doing it all over now plus running some scans..

One thing I'd try, make sure you have the latest studio drivers installed for your GPU from Nvidia.

You can do a screen capture video with OBS studio, if you don't know how to already. I would do that, then make sure you have filed a support ticket here: https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/vegas/form

They may or may not be able to help, but it at least makes sure the development team is aware of the bug.

This one is highly unusual, as many other users on similar systems aren't having these issues. In your support request, I'd include a link to the video of the bug, as well as your hardware description. Also, give them the exact version of windows you are using, and your GPU driver version as well. This should help.

We'll keep trying to narrow down a culprit in the mean time.

I'm guessing the keyframes padlock is unlocked in your effects window, and you have rogue keyframes scattered all over the timeline. Happens often.

UPDATE: I managed to fix it by accident. I was installing some codecs packs ( http://www.mediaplayercodecpack.com/  ) because I had problems with playback of .265 video files in some applications (they worked fine in Vegas) and to my surprise the color tab works good now! No idea what exactly helped but installing this codec pack was sure the solution.

Thanks,

Laci
