Cool & Quiet 1080p Blu Ray Editing on a Windows 2020 laptop?

With the latest GPUs, CPUs and Vegas edition, is it still silly to expect to edit 1080p BDs with a laptop-at least without much noise and heat?

As with DVD movies the most I'd usually be doing with (decrypted) BD movies from my personal collection is to delete some scenes which were too violent or otherwise grotesque for my liking. And then burn the changes to a BD-RE.

Please either pass or suggest a custom builder or a mostly pre-built model that can do what I want for under $2K.

I'm not sure what problem you're having, but don't edit or render with a laptop on your lap -- you'll block the vents and feel the fans straining as well as heat.

I was looking for advice on purchasing a stock or customized laptop that might coolly and quietly allow me to make simple cuts (scene deletions) in DVD and BD movies. And which would cost ~ $1800. But I guess a desktop is the only way.
