Crashes regularly while playing within editing

As I watch the loaded videos (I usually have 2-3 video tracks and 3 audio tracks) It stops being responsive. I have Vegas Pro 18, this happens usually as I am watching playback at 2X speed and attempt to click the timeline to move the "cursor." I twill freeze then when I click again the whole screen goes lt grey and it asks me to either close it or wait, I have waited for naught over an hour. Is there an error log somewhere I can access?

First thing I always recommend... go into the help menu, and run the GPU driver update utility. If it recommends a driver, download that driver and install it.

There is an error that states the driver is not made for my computer. i will see what I can do and get back to you.

@MartinJon - Check that your PC meets the minimum Specification for VP18, let’s get that outta the way.

It would be very helpful if all questioners entered their hardware and software specifications in their profile. This would save you a lot of queries.
Would be nice if this were a requirement when creating a user account - it couldn't be easily overlooked.
