Create new software stop Vegas Pro

Vegas died forever, watch the number of bugs, software that crash without stopping. I just tell the Vegas team to stop Vegas Pro completely because it's a disaster since version 14. You lose customers, believe me, open your eyes. Build a new video editing software more complete, with full codecs, a real editing software like Final Cut Pro or Resolve 14 and I pass ... But here it is a catastrophe, really and in addition you make pay dearly to see a mediocre result, you make fun of us, just for the money in your pockets, I say, you do not tell yourself, but that's too much for me! I say what I think and I have the right to say what I think. If you really want to evolve, stop Vegas Pro and create a brand new software. Many agree with me, even on your forum too.
It's up to you to play, the camp is in your game.

I'm certain the developers will be anxious to try your code.

I think that Sony had such a plan - Stop Vegas and start the Catalyst. But not everyone agreed with this. I really think that today need to write a program from the very beginning and put there all the best that is in Vegas. I see that many users have left. At the current pace of development, Vegas will not be ready by 2030.The only chance for a quick breakthrough is huge investment and a large staff of developers. 3 and a half people can not do anything for 10 years.  Hey developers come here and talk to us!!!

Really? How do you know that?

Just because some guys have an online temper tantrum doesn't mean Vegas' total user base is shrinking. My wild guess is that the user base is growing, just judging by all the newbie questions on this forum (which are totally welcome, by the way).

Well, if you think so. I just say that I see. You think that everything is good and there are no problems?

Sure, there are problems. But they seem to have a roadmap to fix them.

I leave it to the true experts to decide the best way.

I say it make a new software with a new concept, Vegas Pro has died since version 12. Now we have to think and create a new thing that could compete with others. And most importantly, the release of a software program ends up with real novelties. I was right that many would leave, I told them to the Vegas team, they did not believe me, well here is the result. That they do not complain, it's their faults, again a new edition with bugs, crash, because they said well, there will be more bugs and more ... They do not give a damn about us and what one asks them to have on the software, all that want is to go out and put the money in your pocket. This is the truth, the true. So we weight new software and stop Vegas Pro thanks

I am sure they have. Most likely in version 16, 17, 18... which we all will pay for to have bugs fixed that exist since 14. I paid for 14 just to keep it going, I am still using SVP13. I may buy 15 but only if it fully supports AMD's VEC.

Proud owner of Sony Vegas Pro 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 and now Magix VP15&16.

Fair comment. I won't be upgrading to v15 until the extra interface elements are added, and the AMD performance is at least as good as v14 when using the new so4 plug, hopefully better.

Relax guys, no one will make a new program. Vegas will always be the same. Slightly less old bugs, a little more new ones. So it was always.

We will never be told what will happen in the new versions, no press-releases and announcements.

I decided to give Vegas another last chance :), I'm waiting for Vegas 16. If everything is the same, i need to move on.
New iMac Pro is waiting for me! :))

I'm using v14 to edit a feature-length film. I've had a few hiccups along the way, but given the number of tracks involved and complexity of the edits, I'd say it is holding up fine. I haven't tried v15 all the way, but compared to Premiere and Resolve, for me, it is a more stable and versatile program. It also accepts a huge amount of OFX plug-ins, can work in 32 bit floating space, and gives you a lot of good options for audio. It is unfortunate that you don't like the software, but if it is dead, why do you keep posting on here? Go to Resolve or Premiere if you don't like Vegas or just use Vegas 11 if Vegas died at 12. Personally, I'm glad Magix took it over.
