I'm a happy owner of VMS13P. However, one of my biggest issues with it is the lack of freeform masks (only providing the very limited Mask Generator as a Video FX). Also the huge icons. They take way too much space.
Seeing the lucrative upgrade offer (Up to 72% off? Really?!)... does VMS15P have freeform masks? What other benefits does it have over VMS13P?
Not sure of differences in masking. Movie Studio Platinum 15 has a free trial. Our gurus don't recommend downloading the Movie Studio Basic trial.
No, it doesn't have freeform masks. I usually use cookie cutter FX or a transparent png file for masking.
As for other benefits suggest you download the 30 day trial and find out for yourself. It doesn't have the large icons for a start.
