DV video capture start issue

After the DV/HDV prompt, selecting DV spins the 'busy' wheel for about 7 seconds, but does not start. No error messages. Selecting HDV works fine.

What is your DV device and how is it connected?

Turn off camcorder device control.

Connect only via FireWire.

Install Windows legacy 1394 drivers.
