Frames Appear In Wrong Order

Hello i am fairly new to editing with sony vegas pro and i have recently just bought a whole new pc so i can begin to take editing seriously. Before on my old computer i did not have this problem it has only seemed to have popped up now. Basically in my preview window it looks as if the frames are in the wrong order creating a stuttering effect. I have attached a gif of my preview window, whilst i am moving along the timeline frame by frame. In it a logo should apppear by being uncovered from the white but as you see in the gif the white stutters back and forth so it is not smooth. I have checked the actual video and this doesn't happen in the actual media. If any one could suggest how to fix this it would be a massive help.

This might be a long shot: but maybe try to set Project Properties - Resample Mode to Disable Resample ?

Go to Media Properties ( not Project) and try different field order.

I have tried disabling resample before and it didn't work and Musicvid im not sure if you meant change the settings of the media which i have tried and it still stutters

Edit: I have just tested with a different video and the stutter doesnt happen so maybe something is wrong with this particular piece of media???

Media Properties are accessed by right-click on an event, or in the Project Media pane.

Easiest way to sanitize it is run it through Handbrake or maybe the VideoRedo trial will fix it. Good luck!
