I do a really big projects with up to 10 hours "fine" material and In spite of i use the movie studio i think it will be the same for vegas pro.

All i think i laid out in pictures.

Comment for picture 1 - ...shows transparently or even hide the glass from event if you press shift-cntrl-i.

Comment for picture 3 - "Slip all takes" is not the way.

Comment for picture 4 - may be this would call "nested event". Think about it.

Alex, we are not developers here. If someone from their team happens to read this, I'm sure they will take an interest. But explaining it further to your fellow users isn't likely to be very productive.
