HEX Color Code Entry

Mohammed_Anis wrote on 4/21/2020, 3:44 PM

As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a way to enter HEX Code as color values.

If I'm correct - I'd like this to be a feature. Very helpful for me workflow, personally.

If I'm wrong, would love it if you guys can point me as to how I can make it happen.

Thanks!

Traditionally, imaging for photo/video is RGB or decimal. There is no hex input in Vegas, but there are many small utilities and online converters to do the work for you. The standard Windows color picker shows Hex, Rgb, Lab, Hsl, and cmyk as well, I believe.

May issue is that my favorite color palette generators use HEX Code, There are of course RGB/CMYK numbers, but the pdfs I get also lists different shades of said colors that are listed in HEX Code

VEGAS EFFECT/Hitfilm has it. So at least thats there.

I have installed a Chrome extension called "Eyedropper" and is also a color picker for web pages. Any chance this would help you?

I do know that all of Vegas' internal math is decimal 0 - 1.000
