How to edit videos like Nightblue3

I'm a complete beginner at editing videos but I want to learn how to edit videos in the way nightblue3 does like how he has the "anime webcam" reactions and sound effects as well a memes but for now I'd be happy enough with just learning the anime webcam but I don't even know what that would be called so I could search a video tutorial. Any help at all would be very appreciated!

Silly suggestion: Why don't you ask nightblue3?

As far as we know, he doesn't hang here.

What he seems to be referring to is just a simple picture in picture effect. SSJ, try this. Put your gameplay video on one track, then your "anime webcam" clip on another above the first one. Use the track motion button (located in each video track's control panel on the left side of the timeline... in VP15 it may be hidden in the "hamburger button" menu). on the anime clip, it will open up a window that lets you resize the clip and move it around to wherever you want. There is also a crop effect that you can apply to either track fx or individual video event fx to resize and move the video that does it right in the preview window in VP15. Then, on a third track above the other two, you can add some text to say whatever you want it to.

As for the other stuff, looks like he uses the occasional video overlay. You can find video overlay and background packs all over the internet that have transparent backgrounds so you can overlay them on top of your gameplay video easily. For instance, a bunch of hearts or stars cascading across the screen in a brief 5 second animation. You can also buy (an eventually learn to make) animated lower thirds that give a nice frame for your text that you will have on the lower third portion of the screen. Also look into learning after effects and look for after effects intro templates so you can make a flashy intro animation.

That should get you on your way.
