Ok, im a total noob when it comes to this. I dont even know what im talking about but Im going to give it a shot. My son loves movie studio 15.0 platinum. He's huge into making videos but asked about buying some IL vocodex? I was wondering if these 2 programs are compatible? Or do you guys/gals know of similar software that is comparable to IL vocodex and is compatible with MS 15.0 Platinum?

Thank you very much, in advance!

Sounds like your son is a brain ahead of his time.

The vocoder you mention looks like it uses MIDI triggers, so unfortunately it cannot be used directly as a plugin in Vegas.

If the vocoder saves audio files (wav, FLAC, mp3) that can be opened inside Vegas, those can be used in editing bigger projects.

I do suggest you try this with MSP 16, there is a free trial.

BTW, you asked the right question.

Another option is a midi-based DAW like Cubase, Cakewalk, Sonar, Ableton (my student loves it), or Acid.

Sooo true! He is way smarter than me in many, many things! I admire him and his passion for creating neat videos. Hes only 12 and can watch a video of effects and rattle the names of the effects of the top of his head. Shoot, im still stuck on commodore 64 games let alone the stuff hes into. (Not fornite lol) Hes into technical media big time. He actually just auditioned for a local technical arts jr and sr high. Anyways, so the software hes looking for is not what he is mentioning. Ill try to download that trial, let him mess around with it and see how it goes! I appreciate the response!!! Thank you! Open to any other trials anyone can think of that is compatible with MS 15 platinum!
