I want my computer to go faster while rendering, how can I do it?

And are there ways to make rendering faster? My main focus is making my computer faster, since I want to watch videos or do something while it's rendering and the rendering makes youtube and some other stuff just pause
Rendering is an extra, I can wait an hour for it to finish but I wish I can make it shorter

Any tips?
I already have the bitrates handled and I know doing less transitions and effects help too (I personally prefer just cutting instead of a transition anyways)
