Insert markers--user can advance by pressing next

Help! I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0. I would like to create a simple DVD and a simple Blu-ray with 4 videos. I created a marker for each of the 4. I named each of the 4 markers. My goal is to produce a DVD and a Blu-ray that will allow the user to advance to the next chapter. I went to Render and checked "Save Project Markers In Media File." I don't know what to do after that. Your tutorial indicated that I have to check "Insert Chapter Points At Markers" when creating a Blu-ray. What do I do for a DVD? I've been doing my experimenting with DVDs because they are less expensive. I believe that what I want should be easy but I cannot figure it out. Thank you very much.

The chapter points didn't import automatically on the dvda media timeline? They should.

Thank you for responding...am totally confused. I pressed "m" to create markers. Is this what we're talking about? Assuming that it is, what do I do next? I need a step-by-step. Also, I don't want to use DVD Architect if I can achieve the desired result in Sony Vegas. Thank you again.

If you "save project markers in media file" when you import the file into DVD Architect, the markers should show up as chapter markers.

And while you don't use DVDA but only want to burn a DVD or BD with VMS 11 (?) you cannot use a menu and I think it is in that case impossible to let the markers do their job.

Thank you both, David and Cornico. Since I must use DVDA, can you please give me a step by step? I've tried using DVDA but have had no luck. Thank you very much.

First try this for the beginning, it's only part one.

There are also part 2,3 and 4
