Isolating a single colour

Hi all,

A friend who I introduced to Vegas has asked me how to change a clip to black and white, except for one colour.

I know Vegas can do this - I'm pretty sure it was called "Color Pass", and I did a demonstration of it, maybe 12 years ago, to a local videomakers club. I can't remember how, but I definitely did it!

A search for Color Pass in Help however brings no results.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Never heard of that name before, but a Mask + Secondary Color Corrector should get you there.

Wouldn’t just a Secondary CC with an inverted mask do the trick?

Thanks guys - I'll work my way through those links - also found a brief tute on Toutube using Vegas Pro 8, and the FX Window was a lot different then!
