Hi,

I'm getting a couple of persistent and extremely annoying problems running Vegas Movie Studio.

(1) The images don't appear in the preview window (a black screen in the preview, and then a red screen when I click on to crop/add FX). This is very random and images appear and disappear at will (more disappearing than appearing it has to be said).

(2) The program hangs constentently - anywhere from 10 to 20 seconds at a time.

(3) Some files (I tend to use .mp4 as these have worked best previously) only import the audio file and not the video.

I've used the version of Quicktime as suggested by Magix, and I've converted my files to .mp4 from .Mov as Magix said .mov weren't as stable. I'm trying to finish a project, but it is impossible with the above problems.

I've updated the software today, but the same problems remain.

I'm running Windows 8.1, through an intel i7 with 16GB of ram.

Can anybody show me where I'm going wrong?
