Legacy text separation?

I've kinda been messing up a bit with motion tracking my text. I put in one thing of legacy text into my video but, do you know how it appears in the Project Media tab? I've been just dragging out that to my timeline and did it 3 times. I didn't notice it changed all of them when I edit the text until I went to go preview it. What do I do to separate the legacy texts? Vegas pro 13.

Why must you post the same question five times? Take down the first four please, and someone "may" try to answer it.

I'm so sorry. It was not posting and was taking too long so I kept clicking and did not realize! Sorry!

Copy on the timeline and when you paste it will ask if you want to reference the original or create a new one. Sounds like you want a new one.

You can make copies that way or control-drag a new one on the timeline (and "create new")

Right click the event and "select media in project manager" to see that media in project manager. (Not sure what use that is, however.)

For editing the text, just place the preview cursor over the event you want to edit and click the media generator icon on the event. (Seems obvious, so maybe I don't understand what the problem is here.)
