MATCH MEDIA SETTINGS

I am no longer being prompted to match video media settings when dragging a clip onto the timeline, despite the preference being on. Is there some way to manually change the project to match the clip settings without waiting for the software to automatically prompt me?

Was there media already on the timeline, even text or generated?

Did you check the box "Always base project video settings on first-added video" ? I assume if you did that there would no longer be a need for the prompt?

You can toggle the preference by using Internal preference settings.
