Melodyne 5 Assistant not visible in Vegas Pro 18

Hi, I have seen a movie that clearly shows that Melodyne is visible as a plugin for Vegas Pro 14 (). So I do expect this to exist also for Vegas Pro 18. However I cannot see how. First of all I would expect Melodyne plugins to be somewhere at C:\Program Files (x86)\Celemony\Melodyne 5 or C:\Program Files\Celemony\Melodyne 5, but nothing is found there... So how can we get this accesible from Vegas Pro? (Or else from Acid 10 which gives me the same result). Does anyone have experience with this?

You select your plugin folder paths in Options->Preferences->VST Effects.

Thanks, indeed, that is known.. but where should the Melodyne plugins be? As mentioned above I do not see those in expected locations.

Melodyne is not compatible with VP (Melodyne is VST-3, which VP does not support

Additionally Melodyne is not included in the Vegas Pro / Sound Forge Pro package deal in the first place, none of the third-party audio plug-ins are. Unfortunately, Magix does not clearly state this. They are included when SFP is purchased singularly. The SFP Suite includes Melodyne, SpectraLayers Pro among others

OK, thanks. That means that the old YouTube example is from an old type vst plugin probably (as those have fallen away in Melodyne I noticed). Together with Vegas lacking vst3 this will be a gap. Thus I might check potentials via SFP, or perhaps via ACID for which I understood this has the ARA integration? For SFP it still remains a question where the Melodyne vst3's should be... Maybe this requires a direct check with Melodyne though, not here? Key question left here is then perhaps if there are some more Magix people here having experience with any Melodyne integration working, perhaps then in SFP or ACID...

The video with Melodyne running in VP is from 2018 with an old version of Melodyne. VST-2 if it runs in VP.
Was Celemony Melodyne 5 Essential purchased separately or did you purchase the SFP-15 Suite version.
As I previously stated, Celemony Melodyne 5 Essentials is not included with Vegas Pro in any shape or form.

Some time ago I indeed got Essential with some Magix product as stand alone. That way I got to know about it. And, with that, I did expect some integration options, but that indeed appears quite remote. Anyhow, I'm also happy with the stand alone, but Magix could do a good job in supporting this everywhere especially as I still like Vegas as my multichannel DAW. Meanwhile I also asked Melodyne where they hide their vst and ARA options (then for SFP and ACID). Have a good day!

OK, I got also an answer back from Melodyne. Instead of in the initially mentioned locations which I found at some forum that should host the Melodyne vst's, I should directly have looked into <C://Program Files/Common Files/VST3>. Indeed the vst3 is there! Thanks Melodyne! Unfortunately we do know that vst3 does not read in Vegas Pro, so no option from there. So I tried SFP: indeed visible but then apparently reads as ARA! Also I tried Acid: not visible as individual selectable vst3 effect but option to right click a track and select to edit an event, track or project with Melodyne.... So all options clear (apart from the fact then that it appears to crash Acid, but that is off-topic here). For Vegas Pro I will use Melodyne then as stand alone outside editor, hoping that at some day there will be contemporary and stable integration.
