mov file plays audio but not video

mov file shows normally in timeline. Sound plays fine, but video is just a black screen. Any clues on how to fix? Vegas Pro 20 Build 214. Running in Win 11, 12 Gen Intel I7-12700 mhz. some files from same camera, with same settings seem to work and others do not. The ones that do not work are 4 gig (5 min 59 sec), which is max that the Canon 7D mkII camera will put out. So don't know if size of file is a piece of the puzzle.

I have found a solution, may be others as well. I got AVC - Any Video Converter, MP4 Converter out of Microsoft store, and converted the files I was having trouble with into mp4 files. They now seem to work.

@dale-garman If you have quicktime plugin enabled in depreciated features, try disabling that. I can play back ticked or unticked, but if you try an option different to current maybe it works for you.
