Do you have Quick Time installed? Windows needs QT or a QT Alternative to view mov files.

Also, only a few MOV codecs support alpha channel.

Yes, I do. I installed it again because it wasn't working

It worked for me the first time but it was in 720p by accident. Any attempt later did not work and it still showed a black screen.

Well if it worked the first time, it will happen again. Lots more information with a picture of your track alpha controls would be needed to guess at it from this side.

I rendered it again in 720p and then it worked??? Afterward, I tried again with 1080p and it worked and so forth. I do not know what happened for it to be fixed, but I'm not complaining. Thanks for both of yours' suggestions!

It has nothing to do with whether you rendered 720p or 1080p, that is certain.
