.MOV files

Widetrack wrote on 2/11/2018, 8:24 PM

I recieved two files for editing, shot on an iphone, with .MOV file extensions. I can load them in my Vegas 14.0, but it consistently crashes as soon as I try to play it. I had an old Quicktime on the machine at first, but uninstalled it after I read that there's no new QT/Win, and that a win machine should run QT. The machine is a Lenovo e430c, Core 2 duo laptop, running win 10. Win Media player does run the files, but not Vegas. Help, please.

Almost forgot: I also converted the files in Sound Forge to .wav (justn the audio, of course) and .avi. neither play in anything.

Musicvid, I just saw I never thanked you for your direction. Belated thanks now, and apologies. Hope things are going well for you.

You are welcome, and yes I'm doing better. Bad spring and summer, but good preddy and better environment have got me on the mend, and less snarly.

What is "preddy"? And is there something wrong with snarly?

It's a nickname for a widely prescribed corticosteroid medication.
