Hello .... This is really annoying. When editing, the program will just freeze and I get the "Unresponsive" message at the top of the screen. It happens often when I am moving clips although it can happen at any time I am having to save the project after everything little thing I do and frankly it is getting tiresome.
Does anyone else suffer with this? Has anyone got any suggestions for getting rid of the problem?

What operating system do you have? Which processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free space is on your hard drive?
Which model of camcorder is your video coming from and what is the video's format and resolution?
Its an i5-4570S based PC running W10Pro. 16GB RAM HDD space in excess of 2TB free. It is not a slow machine.
The cameras I use are SJ4000's (not fake). 1920 x 1080 30fps .MOV format
This issue has only appeared since I upgraded to MS15 Platinum from v14. In about one hours work last night resulted in over 10 freezes. It is also appears to be getting more commonplace.
It happens at various times. Having just run the program it froze when I went to close it. Most of the time it happens during editing especially if moving clips but that is not exclusive.
MS14 runs perfectly by the way.

We need to see a screenshot showing which Decoder is n use with one of your MOV files open on your timeline.
And therin "may" lie part of your woes.
