Multiple split screens

It appears the ability to create videos with multiple split screens (like a 2 x 2 grid or a 3 x 3 grid) is not possible. Can't find any tutorial or documentation that would guide one through this . Is this simply something beyond the ability of this Vegas Movie Studio 16 or 17?

What version of Movie Studio do you own? Basic or Platinum?

Do you have a PIP track?

Hello. Movie Studio 16 Platinum. I know what PIP is but I don't know what you mean by "track".

Add Picture In Picture (PIP) Video FX to each clip and size and place them where you want them. Each will need to be on a separate track. Easy.

Tracks are what you place your clips on in the timeline.
