New England Voiceover talent needed ~ noncommercial ~

I acquired a stunning historical photograph of the Edward J. Lawrence, the last six-masted schooner ever built, and which was destroyed at dock by fire in 1925.

The tonal depth of the print itself is museum-worthy. Would have been shot on something like a Voigtlander with pan-tilt.

More fascinating is the prodigious inscription on the back describing a cabin boy's life aboard the Lawrence in the early 1900s. It was easy to authenticate since the photographer/author is known to local newspapers and history museums, and the inscription as transcribed, reads like a Maine seafarer's Odyssey.

I am ISO local voiceover talent with Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut dialect to read the narrative verbatim, but not dry, and I will do a Burnes-style visual track, the goal being a not-for-personal gain minidoc on Vimeo.

Pay is a credit, high rez scans, and one six-pack of Colorado Micro Brew, which you will pick up locally. I'm looking for 24 bit PCM, and you can send a short demo to my username at Gmail.

I had such great luck finding Alistair for my last narration, I'm just hoping he has a chowderhead cousin on this side of the pond. Looking forward!
