No Live Audio While Recording in Sound Forge

I use both Vegas Pro and Sound Forge, but this is a Sound Forge question. I've been transferring and restoring some old analog tapes using Sound Forge. I feed the tape deck RCA out to my sound card input and Sound Forge captures the signal, no problem. Unfortunately there's no sound while recording, only during playback. The only way I've been able to monitor the recording is to plug headphones into the tape deck. Is there a setting I need to accomplish this? Thank you.

Sound Forge now comes under Magix products so try the audio forum at the Magix Community https://www.magix.info/us/audio-forum/

I looked for a Sound Forge form but had not found this link. Thanks Eric.

In order to monitor your Sound Forge input, you need to be using Full Duplex ASIO Audio Drivers.

However, you have not told us which audio drivers you have selected in Sound Forge, nor what drivers are available to you.

If you are unable to solve your problem by switching drivers, feel free to post in the Magix forum with all of the relevant information, thanks.
