Preview Quality Change Clip Shift Problem

Theagames10 wrote on 2/28/2019, 7:52 PM

I have a problem in Vegas Pro 15 that is currently annoying me, I need some help.

Whenever I change the quality of the preview from 1280x720 to 1920x1080, all my clips shifts to the left a tiny bit for some reason, and it makes me try and position all of them back to where they originally were, and it is annoying me so much!

I have tried to grab multiple clips and moved them, but it isn't even perfect with this strategy.

I have looked online for some answers and solutions, but there was no solutions on google or anywhere on this forum.

I even clicked the redo button and it worked, but I want to render in 1920x1080.

I have thought about it and maybe it is either the clips that shift or the timeline cursor that moves(I even looked this up on Google, but no solutions either).

Does anyone have any solutions to this annoying problem?

You may have some effects windows that were created at the earlier project resolution.

Simplest thing is to start with a fresh project at output resolution.

No, this happens with every new project I do, and it is so annoying

Are you saying you change the Project Properties from 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080 ? .. and what do you mean by "shifts to the left a tiny bit"? Do you mean the events move on the timeline or that the pan/crop framing is different?

If you can explain what is happening, maybe I (or someone else) can reproduce the problem. We found a few bugs like this.

Whenever I change the Project Video Properties to 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080, the video clips move to the left a tiny bit. I will link a Youtube video I just made demonstrating the problem soon

Here is the video demonstrating the problem I am having, I have the video as unlisted:

Are you changing the frame rate when you change the resolution? .. I think I can duplicate the problem if the frame rate is changed when changing to 1920 x 1080.

Look closely, you're also changing framerate from 29,970fps to 30,000fps!
