Problems with text colour and text background colour

I'm having problems using Movie Studio 17 Pro. When using Vegas Titles and Text, font colour and background colour display properly in the timeline (yellow letters on a red background), but in video preview it shows as grey letters on a black background.

I tested this in Movie Studio 16 Pro where it works correctly. I am using a Dell Inspiron i7 laptop running latest Windows 10.

Any ideas?

Yes. Reset all track compositing to Source Alpha.

Thanks for the tip.I actually 'solved' my problem by clicking the overlay button. I must have accidentally clicked on one of the set to Grayscale options accidentally.
