quick audio question

Hi everyone,

I'm getting into video and am trying to determine which software will work best for me.  I have to get a stupid question out of the way since I've never worked with video software.  What does an audio track entail?  I saw a reference to a limit to an audio track limit in a youtube review of a previous version of the software, saying it had 20 tracks available, and I'm not sure that will be enough for what I want to do if each audio track is limited to one video file (e.g., voiceover monologue, music track, sound effect) for the entire movie.  With that being said, I wasn't able to find any info about how many tracks each version of MS13 allows and whether or not each track is limited to one audio file for the entire movie.  Any clarification would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

It costs you nothing to download the 30 day trial and find out for yourself. I suspect you will find your worries meritless.

It's 20 audio tracks for Movie Studio 13 and 200 audio tracks for Movie Studio 14.

... and each of the audio tracks can contain an unlimited number of audio events.

You guys are great. Thank you! So then, subsequently, each video track can have more than one video file as well?

Of course! Video editing would be a nightmare, possibly impossible, if it didn't.
