Re-render matching exactly original video source. Going crazy!

Hello guys. I'm going crazy with this project.

Is a movie that I rendered last month then deleted the vegas project. Now I'm re-editing it based on the rendered version.
So from many video tracks I have just one track and I added on top of it just another layer for lettering, titles, some short broll. Very few transition. And of course I forgot the profile I have used for rendering the original project.

The problem is that when now I render this new project the final result is always unacceptable.
I've tried with many profile but not satisfied yet.

This is the media info of the original movie:

This is the new project setting:

This is the profile that I used getting poor result. Why?

What rendering profile would you use to perfectly match it?

The mediainfo of your rendered movie says: variable framerate! This cannot be a rendering result from Vegas, because Vegas always renders constant framerate.

Uncheck ADJUST SOURCE MEDIA and ALLOW SOURCE TO ADJUST FRAMERATE

3POINT .. God you just remembered me that you are right. The main video is a combination that I've made with Avidemux. With Avidemux I've combined three parts: intro, first and second part.

This are the detail of the main parts.

I totally forgot that.

Vegas is a lossy encoder that will not smart render avc.

IOW if your source media is missing, you are stuck with degradation in third generation rendering.

You may get slightly better results if you check "Two pass" render.

Ok, I'm trying to do the two pass. It will take forever :D

Uncheck ADJUST SOURCE MEDIA and ALLOW SOURCE TO ADJUST FRAMERATE

Ok. I did uncheck. Now I'm rendering it again. I'll let you know how will be the result.

Thankyou guys

Only time "adjust source media" needs to be used is for a slight aspect mismatch; i.e., DVD widescreen to true 16:9. Best to leave it off otherwise.
