Recover session "overwritten" project

Hey, is there any way to recover a session (undo) that i have "overwritten"?

I have modified a session - saved it and close sony vegas 14.

After I opened the project and realized the modicfication destroyed my whole big editing work. I want to have the project before that bad modification happened (just one undo step). It was just one click. Too bad i have closed the project without checking what the click was that bad.

There may be a .veg.bak file lurking in your windows user/administrator folder. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're SOL.

In the future, save early and save often is the stock answer.

Try the back up file before you did the "overwriting".

"........ .veg.bak." rename this one in "other .veg" and look if it's the right one.

Yes, it was me, Wolfang. And yes. The bak I've found, has really opened my "undo-project".

Thank you guys, you really helped me.

I love you all.
