Recovering a Lost File.

Hello everyone

Novice here using VP 14.

I have accidentally closed a file without saving it. Is there a way to retrieve it?

I was working on a project and my system hung up so I had to force the VP to close.

When I opened VP again VP asked me if I wanted to restore the file. I chose YES.

But while trying to save it I accidentally clicked in CLOSE instead of SAVE. VP didn't even ask me if I wanted to save my work and closed the file.

:-(

Please help!

Because you are asking about the project files, maybe time to use a Vegas version where the program does that automatic?

Try this. Navigate to C:\Users\<yourName>\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\14.0.

You will see all of your restored/autosaved projects. Hopefully, you will find it there.

Thank you for this tip, sir, but VP 14 doesn't have this facility. :-(

I own Vegas Pro 14, and it Autosaves every 5 minutes.

If you will search the Help and Preferences for your version of Vegas before assuming, it will save us a lot of time.
