Render video with less size?

Hello there! So I've see that some people already did some questions about sony vegas settings for rendering, my question is if there is a good setting similar to 720p (Youtube) that doesn't increase the size o the video. I have a video of 7 minutes which has 505 MB, and it's too much for Youtube (I'm trying to send since afternoon) ... I've try some other settings but i didn't try changing anything inside except the "CPU only" option...

When I record the video I use D3Dgear and the format is wmv (the smaller) and I got a video of 10 min which had 3 GB and then I cut it on Sony Vegas so now it's 7 min... Can you give me any light? Even some tips? TY!

Final render size is 100% related to bitrate for most codec's. Do a search for a bit rate calculator for the specific format you want (wmv, mp4, etc) and try out different values until you get a size you are happy with.

Decrease the bitrate in the encoder settings

Decreasing the bitrate will decrease the output quality.

There is nothing wrong with your video settings, bitrate, or file size.

It's the "too much for YouTube" impression you need to focus on and work out. It's not true. Are you on a dialup modem?
