Rendering a nested project causes codec error

I've used nesting many times in VP 13 with no issues on my Win10Pro, Intel based rig. With 15 (currently on build 321) I get an error when rendering about an incompatible codec. Sometimes it works, sometimes the error. Sadly, it usually happens two hours into a 3 hour render. I'm rendering to MP4 with the Magix AAC/MP4 codec. It may be a coincidence, but I have found that if I render these right after a reboot, the chance of success is much higher. Wonder if anyone else is seeing this?

The same "codec not supported" error just occured working on a project that was not nested. So that's not a factor after all. It does make me wonder even more if it's something to do with the current build. Trying a render on the same project with the Sony codec.

1. Disable GPU render.

2. If that doesn't fix it, start tracking down hardware heating problems.

That covers many cases like yours.

GPU render is not in use, but Intel QSV is. This was working fine in the past, and no hardware changes have been made to this system in over two years. The same render completed successfully. with the Sony AVC codec, albeit at a much slower rate.

Sure, it still could be an issue with my machine, but I have hours of this conference to render, and I need QSV.
