Rendering moves things around

I'm using Movie Studio 13. I have a video where arrows point to certain parts of the screen. In Movie Studio, I place them where they should be. When I render the video, the arrows are not where I placed them. See below:

This is from Movie Studio:

This is a screenshot of the rendered video:

I'm using windows 10. If you need any more details, I'll be happy to provide them. TIA!

This can happen if you render to a different aspect than the project. Can you show your project and render settings?

Be sure to use preview setting "Best (Full)" when working with Pan/Crop or Track Animation.

Ah, would it that I have the resolution different? (Dumb question) (Should have noticed)

brian-v wrote on 10/5/2017, 12:44 PM

Well, that's the answer. The resolutions didn't match. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction david-tu!

Yeah, I was just getting ready to reply that your resolutions are odd. Glad you figured it out.

@brian-v

You need to set your project settings to match your output BEFORE adding any generated media or text to your timeline. Different aspect =different placement.
