Rendering Multiple Resolutions Problem

Hey.

I have multiple clips in different resolutions, for example, one is 1280x544, the other one is 1280x720, one is 1920x1080.

Now, when I render all these clips, the Aspect Ratio changes and it doesn't look like the original at all. I can always notice that when I open the Video in VLC. I need them to keep their original Aspect Ratio.

Especially when I render a 1280x544 in Full HD (1920x1080), the issue will occur. Does someone have any ideas?

Set your project and export settings to the kind of video you have the most in use and than make the others fit in that screen size trough Pan/Crop and/or Trackmotion.

That's a bit complicated, as I have more than 200 clips. Is there an alternative?

Not that I know if you export in one file.
Here is an example of what I mean

only images you can add on projectsettings not your video

Quick and dirty -- put em all in a 1280x720 project. Preserve aspecct on the 544 clips, and your set. Black bars will appear on those clips.

Does that mean your target is 1920x1080 regardless of all source media you use?

If yes, I would setup my project (and render) settings to fullHD.

If you add a media to a project, it will keep it's own aspect by default.

One should not upscale due to quality losses.
