My friends and I all wanted to make a 20 minute video for youtube. After we finished recording, all of my friends (who have not as good specs as my pc) were having no issues with Vegas Pro 14. However, I was. Vegas continuously crashed while I was trying to edit, making the video take more time in order to complete. I eventually thought about lowering the preview quality, and that seemed to help. After I finished editing, I went to render the video at 720p 30fps. Every time I do this though, it seems to crash. I decided to look in the Task Manager to see if that would help me understand the issue and that did. My processor is being used at 96% when rendering, and I still have another 12GB of ram that was available. To add on, the GPU was running at 20%. My specs are i7-7700k (factory clock), 16GB GSkill Ram, GTX 1080 GPU, Windows 10 Pro, and unfortunately a 1TB HDD (However this isn't the issue, Vegas used to run fine for me when I had more storage taken up). I stopped all extra tasks and tried to render, I restarted my computer while disabling many applications from booting up on startup, however these attempts don't seem to be helping very much, besides completing 30% of the render before crashing.
