I have been using "Route Generator" (RG) to add maps showing routes taken during vacations to supplement my video presentations. I now find I am unable to import maps from "Google Maps" to "RG". Has anyone had the same experience and is there a solution please.
To my knowledge "Route Generator" isn't/wasn't a Sony Creative Software or Magix product. So you need to address your query to the products producer?
I suspect the problem is caused by Google changing something and RG needs to change how it interacts with Google Maps.
Thanks for the response. I have referred the problem to the developer of the software but have had no response to date. I believe your comment re Google changing the URL format may be relevant and will follow up.
Google changes it's APIs all the time. It is doubtful any datasucker app could keep up with the changes consistently, and Google doesn't tell anybody anything in advance.
